Mumbai to Udaipur Train

Bombay to Udaipur

I wanted to take the train from Bombay to Udaipur for a long time. But I wasn't brave because I was by myself. But in the end, I chose to go to Udaipur, the city on a lake. I got ready to go to work after that.

At 11:30 pm, the train I will take will leave Mumbai. I started by making a list of where to go, and I plan to spend three days in Udaipur. The trip on my train took 15 hours. I forgot what my train was called.  But if you look at the train as a whole, it was very good.

I had bought a lot of food for the night because you can't sit in a train all the time and you have to eat sometimes. After eating food at night, I went to sleep. The next morning, I got up feeling good and ordered food.

I ordered the meal and received the package 30 minutes later. The meal was of excellent quality as well. I read the newspaper for the remainder of the day after that. My desire has finally come true. I was able to take the train to Udaipur. The image of Maharana Uday Singh and the imperial art initially caught my attention as I got off the train.

I initially had to go a distance to the vehicle after exiting the station.  because I'm going to my hotel first. I'll recuperate and go sightseeing after that.

Basically, Udaipur is called the city of lakes and the jewel of Rajasthan. Udaipur is surrounded by the magnificent Aravalli Hills and has amazing architecture like the Venice of the East.

And if you want to enjoy the beauty of Udaipur then you must come between September and March.

Places to visit in and around Udaipur:-

1. Pichola lake udaipur:

My first night in Rajasthan was spent at The Lake Pichola Hotel in Udaipur. The hotel was just as amazing and the view of the lake as well.  I fell in love with the lake.

This lake is one of my favorite lakes. We got a private boat next to this hotel through which we could enjoy the beauty of the lake very closely. Also, there were many big mountains and temples here which are amazing to see.

2. City Palace museum Udaipur:

City Palace is the second largest in India Known as Palace. It is said that 22 kings built this palace in 400 years.  My ticket price to visit this palace was 300 rupees as I was an adult.

But 100 rupees for children and free for children under 5 years old. This palace is open from 9 am to 5 pm. If you love history, you must visit it once.

3. Fateh Sagar Lake:

This lake is basically an artificial lake. It is located north of Pichola Lake and is said to have been built around 1680. The lake is named after Maharana Fateh Singh. We visit this lake on the second day.  This place is so beautiful you just look and enjoy the nature.

4. Udaipur Temple:

We visited the temples located in Udaipur on the third day. First of all we went to see Eklingji temple. It is said that this temple is one of the famous temples of Rajasthan. We saw here numerous idols as well as interesting carved idols. Then we proceeded towards Jagadish temple and saw several interesting idols in this temple.

Since we had very little time, we had to leave for Mumbai. However, we really wanted to see the musical garden at Doodh Talai. Due to lack of time, we did not. Local people say that it is basically a garden and has a rock and fountain garden.

You can enjoy the beauty of the garden while holding hands with your partner. You can also enjoy the sunset. Maybe I had no partner so the goddess did not wish to enjoy this beauty.

One of the best train journeys of my life was from Mumbai to Udaipur. It was a hassle free journey. Very easily I was able to reach Udaipur and enjoy the beauty of Udaipur. If I ever get another chance in life I will go to Doodh talai musical garden with my partner and hand in hand. I will watch the sunset.

As I had arrived by train, I booked the train ticket on the way and I met several companions while on the train. When I remember the train journey from Mumbai to Udaipur, I get emotional.
