North India Top Attraction Tourist Spot
Most people know northern India as the Himalayas or the Indus-Gangetic Plain. There are both Union Territories and State Administration Provinces in the northern part of India. In this area, people speak different languages.
I always meant to explore this area but never had the time or money to do so. Finally, I'm thinking about 2016; this time I went to North India, and today I'll talk about my trip.
Dharamshala, The land of Winter Capital
We went to Dharamshala to watch the 2016 Cricket World Cup, which was held in India. In the first week of March, we went to Dharamshala. It was really cold. We took the plane because we didn't have time to drive.
It took about 13 to 15 km to fly from the cricket ground. We went with four friends and stayed the night at a hotel close to the stadium. From the airport, we got a private car to get to the stadium.
The Avenue Hotel was where we stayed. The balcony in our room was lovely, and the room itself was very nice. The food and service at this hotel were both good.
We went to see a cricket game the next day. A lot of beautiful decorations were put up around the stadium to honor the Cricket World Cup. It was also nicer to see the field. There wasn't much to say about this field, which was 1457 meters above sea level. The people around the stadium were really sincere.
Following the cricket game, we checked into the hotel with plans to remain here for one more day. So we can see the city.
Triund Hill
The next morning, early, we left the hotel and rented a private car to go to Triund Hill first. People who like to try new things will love this place. I am not able to write about Triund Hill. I'll write when I have time.
Tibetan Library
After coming here, I came to know that there are about 85 thousand manuscripts and book documents in this library.
After coming to the Tibetan Library, we learned about the Kalachakra temple from a gentleman. So we started the journey to visit this temple the next day. People around this temple were very sincere. This concludes our Dharamshala tour.
We went to the Tibetan library because I love to read.
Uttarakhand, The land of Temple
India is called the land of temples. There are temples in every region of this country. Uttarakhand is no exception. I visited Uttarakhand in early June 2017. I thought that if you had 7 or 8 days to spare, you could visit Uttarakhand. This place has more than 40 to 50 tourist spots.
I am a very busy person in my personal life, due to which I came to visit Uttarakhand for only three days. One thing I like very much about India is that there are trains in every region. It is very cheap to go from one place to another.
My travel companion in Uttarakhand was a very close friend of mine. We came to Uttarakhand by train. Then by car to a nearby hotel I went to a place and booked a hotel. We were tired from the journey.
Nainital, A Beautiful Lake
The next day, early in the morning, we proceeded towards Nainital. One of the reasons to visit this area is because Naini Lake is there. Also, this area is known as Naina Debi Temple. We hired a boat to explore the lake.
There were many tourists like us at this time. The view of the lake was amazing. The weather was also great. I still sometimes dream that I get lost in the middle of this lake.
Mussoori Tourist Spot
we proceeded to a Mussoori tourist spot to see the snow. This place is popularly known as a hill station. It is called Queen of Hills and Covered. When we visited, there were many tourists. And all around was covered with snow. One was throwing snow at another. Seeing this scene took me back to my childhood. We were visiting Mussoori on holiday. We had a great day.
Haridar Holy Place
On the last day, we went to Haridar. This area seems to be a holy place for Hindus. It was 13 km from Uttarakhand city. Haridar had the famous Ganges River next to it. People used to visit this area mostly for religious reasons.
We had a good time here when we came. Here was a friend of ours. He told us about this region and visited different places. Here we also saw the golden triangle of Haridwar. I have a very nice picture at this place. Many foreign tourists also come to visit this place.
Dehradun city of cold
Dehradun is located next to Uttarakhand. I have heard the name Dehradun a lot in my short life. So I went around Uttarakhand and proceeded towards Dheradhun.
Robber's cave
Our plan was to go to the robber's cave first. We talked about this with a group of tourists ahead of time, and we went to Robber's Cave with them. This cave was 600 meters long, and there was a small waterfall beside it. This cave is a very popular place. The ticket price was only 25 rupees.
Tapovan
In the end, we went to Tapovan. It has an effect on the Ganga river. Tapovan was surrounded by trees and plants. This place has a temple. In the middle, there were frozen mountains.
In this way, we have finished visiting North India. I didn't see everything because I didn't have much time. But one day I will see everything slowly. North India is still fresh in my mind. I sometimes want to leave everything behind and go to North India. Love is a spot you like.
